Our Services:
Full Container Load (FCL): Use Impex FCL ocean freight shipping for cargo that you wouldn’t want to transport with other cargo (LCL) or you don’t want to share containers. FCL is also a good option if you need to ship larger loads or more than 12 pallets. In general, a full container load attracts lower freight rates than an equivalent weight of loose (break bulk) cargo, FCL might attract more customs duties depending on the types of products shipped.
Less than Container Load (LCL) Or Groupage: Impex Groupage or LCL shipping means you’ll share container space with other shippers and cargo. Impex would consolidate your cargo. Your rate is calculated based on the dimensions of your cargo (volume of container space). When shipping smaller loads or cargo LCL or Groupage is your best option. This can be a more cost-effective option for shipping smaller loads overseas.
Reefer or Refrigerated Containers: Impex would ocean freight your temperature controlled and temperature sensitive cargo in Reefer containers to prevent spoilage. Reefer or Refrigerated Containers are big fridges with temperature controls that transport temperature controlled cargo such as fruits, meat, fish, seafood, vegetables, dairy, flowers, pharmaceuticals etc. across the oceans. Impex ships your temperature controlled cargo and goods in these refrigerated and temperature-controlled containers to protect them from spoilage and humidity. Your goods can be shipped at the ideal temperature for your product, whether it’s is below freezing or moderately cool.
Hazardous Containers & Dangerous Goods: Impex is DGS (Dangerous Goods) Certified and we transport your hazardous goods overseas safely to their destination, in compliance with U.S. and international standards and regulations. Dangerous goods include but are not limited to: gases, flammable liquids, pharmaceuticals, radioactive materials, explosives, flammable solids, oxidizing substances, dry ice, corrosive substances, etc.
Roll-on, Roll-off (RoRo): This is the method of transportation in which vehicles are driven directly into the vessel at the start of the voyage and driven right out at the end of the voyage by the means of a ramp. Impex ships all roll-on, roll-off cargo and vehicles such as construction wheeled equipment, automobiles, heavy machinery on wheels, train cars, trailers, tractors, motor homes on wheels or any type of cargo on wheels so that it can easily be rolled on and off Ro-Ro the vessel.

Exporting a Vehicle - Basic Requirements
To export a motor vehicle from the United States, the exporter (You) must provide documents that demonstrate proof of ownership. Required documents include the certificate of title, the original ownership documents, or a certified copy, and two copies must be presented to U.S. Customs.
The car will be subject to Customs inspection at the time of exportation. If the exportation is by ship or plane, both the vehicle and ownership documents must be presented to Customs at least 72 hours before lading, at which time Customs will conduct its inspection.
The vehicle will be authorized for export only after Customs has inspected it and certified that the ownership documents are in proper order. Your original title will then be stamped or perforated to show that your vehicle was exported from the United States.
